The Lucerne School of Computer Science and Information Technology is the first school of its kind in Switzerland to be dedicated entirely to IT. The new Zug-Rotkreuz campus offers bachelor degree programs in Digital Ideation, Computer Science, Information and Cyber Security, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, International IT Management and Business Information Technology as well as master’s degree programs in Engineering and Business Information Technology. The Lucerne School of Computer Science and Information Technology also has a large variety of further education courses and an expanding and attractive applied research department. It is one of six departments making up the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts with its 1800-plus staff and 11,500 or so undergraduates, graduates and further education students.
We are looking for someone to join our team with immediate effect or by mutual agreement as a
Lecturer in the International IT Management (BSc) and IT, Digitalization & Sustainability (MSc) degree programs (60%-100%)
As a lecturer you will teach modules in our international study programs at Bachelor and Master level. The content of the modules is diverse, with the main focus on foreign policy and international cooperation, as well as international economic policy. You are expected to integrate the UN’s sustainable development goals into your teaching and modules. You are also expected to participate in our international and intercultural team in the further development of the study programs. In addition, you are to develop and maintain contacts with colleagues at our partner universities abroad and develop cross-university, interdisciplinary content for modules in cooperation with these partners. The successful applicant will be expected to do a certain amount of travel. Finally, you will support our students in their academic careers and also promote their intercultural competencies.
The starting date is September 2022 (or as arranged by mutual agreement).
