The position if further embedded in the University’s Research Center ‘Climate – Cryosphere and Atmosphere’, which is part of the Research Area ‘Mountain Regions’ and hosts a Doctoral School ‘Mountain Climate and Environment’. Doctoral students with a focus on turbulence modeling may also be affiliated with the Research Center ‘High‐Performance Computing’ and the Doctoral School ‘Computational Interdisciplinary Modeling’.

three domains, theoretical, experimental and numerical);
 excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills for team work;
 involvement in research projects and acquisition of competitive grants;
